Product Description
White fused alumina (WFA) is made by melting industrial alumina powder at high temperature and then cooling it. After being crushed and shaped, it undergoes magnetic separation to remove iron, and is then sieved into various particle sizes. Its texture is dense and its hardness is high, with sharp corners in the particle shape. The products supplied by AMANDA INTERNATIONAL have an Al2O3 content of ≥ 99.0%, a Na2O content of ≤ 0.4%, and extremely low impurity content. The hardness is extremely high, with a Mohs hardness of 9.0. After the abrasive particles are crushed, new sharp cutting edges are formed, resulting in high grinding efficiency, low heat generation, stable volume at high temperatures, and no crystal transformation. It is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, and does not undergo chemical reactions with the processed materials at high temperatures. The particle size distribution is uniform, and the products strictly comply with national standards.

Application
1. Sandblasting treatment: Surface cleaning of precision parts, removal of burrs, and beautification processing, without iron contamination;
2. Precision Casting: The shell material for investment casting is highly durable, resulting in a smooth surface finish for the castings.
3. Grinding tools:
Consolidation tools: Ceramic grinding wheels, resin grinding wheels, sand bricks. Used for grinding quenched steel, high-speed steel, and alloy steel;
Coated abrasive tools: sandpaper, sanding belts, sanding cloth, for fine grinding and polishing of wood and metal surfaces;
Oilstone grinding machine: Grinding oilstone, small grinding head, with precisely machined inner hole.
4. High-grade refractory materials: Corundum bricks, castable materials, permeable bricks, used in key parts of steel and glass kilns.
5. Functional Ceramics: Alumina ceramics, electronic ceramic raw materials, suitable for high purity and low sodium types;
6. Semiconductor processing: Grinding and polishing of silicon wafers and sapphire substrates, ultra-precision cutting.
