Chromite powder is a fine powder product made from natural chromite powder through processes such as crushing, grinding, and screening. Its main component is chromite oxide (FeCr₂O₄). High-quality chromite ore is sourced from reliable production areas, with a Cr₂O₃ content of over 46%. The refractory temperature is above 1800°C, featuring excellent high-temperature stability, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, and excellent oxidation resistance. The content of harmful impurities such as silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur is low. It can be customized to different mesh sizes (30 mesh - 325 mesh) according to customer requirements. Modern grinding and classification equipment is used to ensure stable product quality.

When producing large cast steel parts, the thermal expansion and high-temperature strength of chromium ore powder are better than those of quartz sand. Applying chromium ore powder as surface sand on the surface of thick and large castings or at heat junctions can effectively prevent metal penetration and sticking of sand, and the cost of the molding sand does not change much.
